Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, in Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents, who have a doctor for teeth as well as a teacher at school, supported and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theater. The initial goal of her of becoming a specialist in monkeys was eclipsed by her wish to pursue a degree in theater and drama. Her rise to fame as a young actress was quick and marked by early success. After her graduation in 1998, she participated in a French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching the journey to become an actor. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church as a young girl and was educated Catholic. She is now separating herself from the Catholic tradition. Neben her acting, Tautou took up modeling and was the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. In the past, during Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she showed the collection of her photographs with the name Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrities, fame and the press that scrutinised her following her emergence on the scene with Amelie. There are also numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie is an international box office success and praised at many award festivals around the globe. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. After this huge success, Tautou went on to star in numerous films, such as British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She also starred alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
