Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress best famous for her character of the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. Her role was praised by critics in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper, her debut television appearance in CBS soap opera Guiding Light. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch.
